Membership validation can be utilized to
allow only Subscribers of your magazine to access secured content
on your web-site. Kable®
offers a system where by we will interface with your web site to
allow you to control the content that can be viewed based on the
user's subscription status at Kable®.
STANDARD FEATURES:
How to obtain a username and password
The subscriber can obtain a username and password in one of the following ways:
1) New Order - At the time the subscriber enters a new order on the web, they are also
prompted to choose a username and password to access web content.
A temporary
file is utilized so access can begin immediately after the order is placed.
2) Existing Subscribers - The sign-in page will allow the subscriber to enter their
account number. If they enter a valid account number, they
will be allowed access, OR they can check a box on the page, and choose a
username and password to be associated with their account number.
3) Customer Service - Customer Service can be directed to provide a subscriber with his or her user
name and/or password when contacted.
Log-in Page
The log-in page can be hosted in one of the following two ways:
1) Kable's standard log-in page can
be utilized.
2) A client's web development team can set up the client's home
site to have a userid and password box form which posts to a page at Kable's site.
Regardless of the method chosen for the sign-in page, Kable will return
