Gift E-cards allow donors to send an electronic greeting via e-mail to their recipients announcing their gift subscriptions. Electronic gift cards work as follows: After a donor has given a gift, a message appears on the confirmation screen saying: If you would you like to send an e-card announcing your gift, click here. When the donor clicks on that link, they are presented with a page that allows them to enter the recipient's email address, name, message for the E-card, theme graphic, and a date for the E-card to be sent. They also can select an option to receive an email when their E-card has been viewed. Immediately, or on the day specified by the donor, the recipient will be sent an e-mail (from the donor's email address) announcing their gift subscription and providing them with a link to a URL that will display their E-card message as it was designed by their donor. STANDARD FEATURES: Personalization - Allows the donor to enter a personalized message for their recipient, select their theme graphic, and also to choose the date on which their E-card will be sent to their recipient. Click to view Theme Graphics Provided - There is a standard package of images that can be selected at the time your gift E-card page is set up. Choose all of them, only a few or substitute your own images. Donor Notification - Allows the sender of the E-card to choose to be notified when the card has been viewed.
