Yes, Kable has created the Web Counts transaction for your use. Please click the link to review the documentation, and contact your Kable^® Account Executive if you wish to be set up for this feature.

I would like to host my own subscription web pages, is this a problem?
No. Your AE can arrange to have an FTP layout sent to you so your developers can format the records to be sent in via FTP.

What are the disadvantages to hosting my own pages?
Because Kable's pages are linked in to the subscribers 'actual' record on file, Kable^® can offer your subscribers more options: Status of their account, the convenience of prepopulating their renewal and change of address pages with their information.

I would like Kable^® to set up & host my pages. What do you need from me to get started?
Its as simple as pointing us to your current web site. Our developers can create the pages to match your site's look & feel. You need not expend any more effort than that.
Your Kable^® Account Executive will also provide you with a Website Request Form which will be sent up with your project. On this form, you specify the page(s) you wish Kable^® to create for you, as well as the rates, and source codes for the offers on those pages.

Can Kable^® help me track my orders from affiliate sites?
Yes, all new Kable^® pages have been set up to automatically recognize source codes sent through the URL string. There are two types of sources that can be passed into a kable page via the URL string: a literal source and a parsed source.

The literal source works as follows:

https://www.kable.com/pub/xxxx/suball.asp?src=SOURCE

The source on file will be SOURCE
Note the variable name in the url is src

The parsed source works as follows:

https://www.kable.com/pub/xxxx/suball.asp?psrc=SRC_Y4_M1_M2

The source on file will be SRC602
Note the variable name in the url is psrc

Valid variables that can be set in a parsed source input string are the following:
_M1 _M2 - returns the first or 2nd position of the month respectively
_Y3 _Y4 returns the 3rd or 4th position of the year respectively
_W returns the 1 character representation of the month (1-9, 0, -, &).

The only requirements are that the source must be no more than 6 characters and it has been loaded to Valid Source File (contact your Kable^® Account Executive to have this done).

My affiliate wants to install a 1x1 tracking pixel on my pages at Kable, can you do this?
Yes, this is a common practice. Tell your Kable^® Account Executive that you want a project opened to place a tracking pixel on your order and confirmation pages. Your affiliate usually does this when they provide you with reports on performance as well as what you would get from Kable. The affiliate can provide instructions or a contact for the developer assigned this task.

What are my options for maintaining images on my pages that will change frequently?
Kable^® has two alternatives for you. The alternative you choose will be based on the SSL status of your web site.

1) If your site has SSL in place, Kable^® can link directly to the image(s) on your site. Please specify when your page is being set up as we normally host all images on our site.

2) If your site is not secure, the subscription pages will display the following dialog box to the user if we point at images stored on your site:


To avoid this we have created the Kable^® Admin page. You will have to request its creation with your Kable^® Account Executive. It will be built to your specs and will allow update of each image you want the ability to change periodically.
