Improvements in Warehouse Service Capabilities

Kable Fulfillment Services is pleased to announce the completion of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) enhancement project. As you may recall during last Fall's Client Updates, Kable had identified this project as the next step in the progression of improving the overall Client experience in Kable's Lettershop & Warehouse portfolio of fulfillment services.

Kable's new WMS system is an enhanced version of the system which has been employed in Kable-Colorado for many years. The key attributes of the updated system which will benefit Kable's subscription fulfillment clients include:

"Real Time" Stock Activity - the location & disposition of any stock item quantity is updated in "real time" to give the user the most up-to-the-minute view of available quantities, including receipts, pulls and returns.

"Monthly Accumulated" Stock Summary - for those that prefer to review their inventory activity in a once per month summarized fashion, there is a report that summarizes stock receipts, usage and adjustments for an accumulated monthly total.

Accommodates Multiple Stock Naming Conventions - a single stock piece will be known by both the naming convention associated with the NPS system (for Colorado based clients), as well as by the naming convention associated with the K-Data system. This feature eliminates the need to re-order stock when a client migrates to K-Data.

Single Processing System - the updated inventory system provides for a single point for inventory activity in all Kable locations; thus, eliminating the need to maintain two separate inventory systems in different locations.

Web Access - Kable has designed inventory reports that will assist Client staff to better manage this aspect of their business. With state-of-the-art web access, Client staff and Kable personnel will have 24/7 access to the following enhanced reports:

Current Stock Summary - a single report listing all Client stock items & corresponding quantities.

Client Summary/Detail By SKU - a single stock item report to track receipt, pulls, usage, & returns.

Stock Receiving Report - a notice each time a stock item is received in Kable's warehouse facility.

Client Stock Reorder Point - a report that alerts Client staff it's time to
re-order a particular stock item(s).

Obsolete Stock Report - a report listing of stock items not used for some period of time.

Internal training has recently been completed for all Kable Client Service, Lettershop, and Warehouse personnel. All clients will have a chance to preview this new system for free through November 18, 2005. Shortly, your Account Representative will be sending you a password, a step-by-step guide detailing how you can to access the Warehouse Management System, and sample reports.
